Class of 2012
The 2012 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Mon., May 7 at 4pm in the amphitheater behind Knobview on the IU Southeast campus, weather permitting. Check ius.edu for rain-site information if inclement weather is a possibility during Commencement. Hats off to the Class of 2012!

Contest
Campus Card Services will be holding an art contest to determine the design for the fall 2012 UCard t-shirt. Contest forms will be distributed around campus and are available for pickup at Campus Card Services/Office of the Bursar, UC103. The winning submission will be featured on the next UCard t-shirt and the student who wins will receive a prize. For more info, please visit and look under the announcement tab.

Lazy Daze
Summertime slows things up a bit, and now’s the chance to get that good read in.  The Adult Student Center is having a book swap for the next couple of weeks.  Bring a book; leave a book.  Clean out those bookshelves and come book swapping in US206.  For more info, contact kpelle@ius.edu

The Planets are Realigning!
It’s summertime and customary for The Planet to be updated once a month. Therefore, post your important information/notices as early as possible (by the last Monday of each month). Summer issues come out on June 7, July 12 and August 2.

70th Anniversary Concert
IU Southeast returns to Jeffersonville for one very exceptional evening on Fri., May 18 at 7pm in Wander Park. This event will bring closure to the one year celebration of the 70th Anniversary. The concert will feature several of IU Southeast’s many music ensembles; the outdoor concert will provide fun to the whole family.

 101 Years of Broadway
Back by popular demand, Neil Berg’s 101 Years of Broadway is a re-creation of the best moments from the biggest Broadway shows. Award-winning composer Neil Berg will perform in the Ogle Center on Fri., May 11 at 7:30pm.
