Wired65 is a regional initiative supporting workforce development that encompasses 26 counties – 19 in Kentucky and 7 in Southern Indiana – along the I-65 corridor. The goal of Wired65 is to make the region more competitive in the global marketplace by supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and talent that will drive regional prosperity.

The online survey is being conducted through July to gather information as part of laying the groundwork for the Wired65 Regional Competitiveness Strategy.

Information gathered from the survey, as well as through peer interviews and other means, will be presented in a report to regional leaders in the fall of 2008.

The Wired.org web site contains information on the Wired65 initiative, regionalism, the U.S. Department of Labor’s WIRED initiative and Wired65’s Regional Competitiveness Strategy.
